Performance
Standard power-assisted steering on 4-wheel drive models makes steering easier and quicker when guiding tractor and is especially useful when mowing around obstacles and using a front loader; power-assisted steering is optional on 2-wheel drive models.
Individual pedals permit independent operation of right and left brakes; separate brake pedals assist make shorter turns; the pedals can be secured together during transport for positive straight-line stops. To give power to rear implements, the tractor has a continuous live 540-rpm rear PTO; this shaft provides power to implements such rotary cutters, rotary tillers, and more than. Tractor has an open center hydraulic system, double hydraulic gear pumps on models with power-assisted steering are driven out the engine crankshaft and provide high-capacity output for various hydraulic practical application.

Safety
Seat belt holders are standard. Operator presence system assures the engine and transmission will stop if you leave the seat when the tractor is in movement. Power takeoff presence system ensures the engine, transmission, and power takeoff will (unless you are using the stationary PTO switch) stop if you leave the seat when the transmission system is on.
